Terms of Use
These terms explain how you can use Free Resume Maker (free-resumemaker.vercel.app). By using the site, you agree to them.
1. The service
Free Resume Maker is a free online tool to write a resume, preview it in different templates, check a resume score and save it as a PDF. It is made and run by Shweta Golakiya. There is no sign-up and no payment.
2. Your resume and your data
- The resume you create is yours. You can use, change, print and share it however you like.
- What you type is saved only in your own browser (local storage) so you don't lose it on refresh. It is not sent to or stored on our server.
- Clearing your browser data, or using another device or browser, removes the saved resume. Keep a PDF copy of anything important.
3. Using the site fairly
Please don't:
- use the site to make a resume with false or misleading information about yourself or someone else;
- try to break, overload, copy or resell the site or its templates as your own product;
- use bots or scripts to load pages or click ads.
4. Advertising
The site is free because it shows ads from Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to show ads. You can read more in the Privacy Policy and change ad personalisation in your Google ad settings.
5. Resume score and advice
The resume score and the tips on this site are general guidance to help you write a clear resume. They don't guarantee an interview or a job, and every company's hiring software works differently. Always check your resume against the job you apply for.
6. No warranty
The site is provided "as is". We try to keep it working and correct, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. We are not responsible for any loss caused by using the site, including lost resume data.
7. Links to other sites
Some pages link to other websites, such as LinkedIn. We don't control those sites and their own terms apply.
8. Changes
These terms may change as the site grows. The date at the top shows the latest version. Using the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
