• Filed monthly GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B and quarterly TDS returns on time with zero penalties for 3 years
• Reconciled 6 bank accounts every month and cleared old unmatched entries worth ₹8 lakh

Freshers: write your internship or articleship the same way – how many clients, which returns, which software.
Education and certifications

Common mistakes in accountant resumes
- "Knowledge of Tally" with no detail. Say what you did: vouchers, GST, payroll, inventory.
- No numbers. Accountants work with numbers – show turnover, vouchers, returns or savings.
- Spelling and number mistakes. A typo in an accountant's resume suggests mistakes in the books. Check twice.
- Old software only. If you know Tally Prime, write Tally Prime, not only ERP 9.
Tip: The resume builder has a "Software and tools" box – put Tally, GST portal and Excel there so hiring software finds them.
